London City Council
February 22, 2010
Time: 4:45pm
Location: London City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue [map]
On February 8th, London's ETC accepted the recommendation that the status quo be maintained on Colborne Street, meaning that Colborne Street should not be widened and that street parking should be retained.
The decision made by the ETC on February 8th will be tabled at this meeting on the 22nd, and City Council will be voting to determine the final fate of the plan, and the final fate of Colborne Street (well, that is, the fate of Colborne for the next thirty years).
Although this meeting is not open to participation from the audience, it is open for public attendance, and we must make our presence felt in order to help the city understand that we support maintaining the status quo on Colborne Street. Please do your best to attend this meeting, as citizen turnout is a factor in how council votes.
This is it, this is the final meeting, and it is imperative that as many of us attend this meeting as possible. Help us capitalize on the successes of February 2nd and 8th, and help maintain the status quo on Colborne Street.
Thank you for your effort and support!
